Happy First Friday of Autumn and last Friday of September! I have a short list of what I've been enjoying and am looking forward to for your weekend. I hope that you're able to find something you like!
David Rose and his orchestra’s Autumn Leaves, this album comes out every Fall and is played most mornings. The ring of the 50’s and the soothing music that mimics leaves and wind dancing about brings me a great deal of joy.
Exclusive: Ancient port from Cleopatra’s time found underwater in Egypt, this is also where several years ago they found a 4,300-foot tunnel that feeds to the sea. Such an incredible find with exciting potential that Kathleen Martínez and her team have found.
The Japanese landscapes that inspired Studio Ghibli films, though I haven’t seen all of Studio Ghibli’s films I have loved all that I have seen. Seeing all of the beautiful locations in Japan that inspired the art is just wonderful. Especially the bathhouse of Spirited Away!
Homemade Pumpkin Spice Creamer, the weather has finally “cooled down,” which really means the highs are now in the 80s and the humidity is only around 60% during the day! So, considering that, I hope to make some of this creamer this weekend, I’ll have to update how it turns out!
Jazz for Autumn, the Fall was made for Jazz…or Jazz was made for Fall. I have listened to this for the last several years, Spotify is always adding music to keeping it fresh.
2025 Fall Foliage Map & Peak Leaf Color Guide, if you’re so lucky to be near Fall leaves changing, here is a map to keep you updated on this year’s times!
Apple elevates the iPhone experience with iOS 26, I downloaded the beta version sometime ago and am glad that the 26 is finally out. It is aesthetically beautiful and I am enjoying a lot of the changes they have made. Especially how you can make all of your icons clear, it cuts down on a lot of “noise.”
